On April 22nd TFW2005.com published an article that honestly got me excited and left a bad taste in my mouth all at the same time. Who doesn’t love new Transformers!? But a collab with the NFL? Ehhh, not so sure I would have gone there, Hasbro.

Sure, they look cool and definitely captured the vibe of what made the toys of our generation the best. But I can’t help but knee-jerk back to 2016 anytime I see something related to the NFL. And that is not a good thing for me and is tainting the hallowed grounds of Cybertron!

In the first run there seems to be only four available.

• Kansas City Chiefs: KC-59
• Dallas Cowboys: Starblitz
• Pittsburgh Steelers: Steelsmash
• Green Bay Packers: Tundra Prime

Did you see that? They already made one a PRIME! And they gave it to Green Bay no less. Go figure. My brother would be proud and I may have to get that one in spite of my objection to pretty much anything NFL related even to this day. So much for taking a knee on this lineup of collectibles.
